The Statement Bike Rack is a bicycle rack that doubles as a piece of art, and it folds up neatly on the wall when it’s not being used. The actual rack which holds the bike is made of birch hardwood, and the supporting fixtures are anodized aluminum and stainless steel hardware. The kit comes with all the hardware you need, along with an installation key and the front wheel strap. It can be used with multiple top tube shapes. Designer Daniel Sculnick says it’s made under an “art meets function” kind of belief where everything we use should function both as a usable product and as art. Statement makes use of American wood, and all the other components are also made in the USA.
