Bollo is a robotic RC LED ball that is remotely controlled via Bluetooth using an android app on your smartphone or tablet. It’s based on a concept that is better known these days as “augmented reality.” The kit comes with the LED ball and a software CD. You insert the CD-ROM into your laptop or desktop, and then transfer the app to your mobile phone or tablet using the unique password you get to pair the app with your Bollo. Now you have complete control of Bollo, and you can make it go rolling down an aisle like a bowling ball. You can make it dance to music you’re playing on the phone or tablet, and you can make it flash different colored lights.
