The PadFone 2 is the newest device combo from Asus and is an Android ICS smartphone with a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED screen, but when connected to the PadFone Station, it is transformed into a 10.1-inch Android ICS tablet.
PadFone 2 is sleeker and more powerful, making for a potentially good combination device.
As for the hardware, PadFone 2 uses Qualcomm’s SnapDragon S4 quad-core 1.5GHz processor and and 2GB of RAM.
We also have to mention that PadFone Station 2 comes with 1 Megapixel front-facing camera, and in order to turn your PadFone 2 into a tablet, you just have to slide the PadFone 2 into the Station and you’re good to go.
As for the software, PadFone 2 runs on Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich, and it will be available in December in Europe and Asia.
